UVM Extension and the Northeast Cover Crops Council Announce 2026 No-Till & Cover Crop Conference: Empowering Farmers with Cutting-Edge Practices for Soil Health and Sustainability

UVM Extension and the Northeast Cover Crops Council are thrilled to host the 2026 Annual No-Till & Cover Crop Conference, bringing together farmers, technical advisers, agricultural businesses, agencies, and consultants for a full day of innovation, networking, and practical solutions.

Topics to be covered will include soil compaction and soil health strategies, nutrient management with no-till and cover crops, interseeding techniques, and cover crop seed production. NEW FOR 2026: A dedicated Vegetable Farmer Track will be offered in the afternoon! Vegetable growers are encouraged to attend the whole day, as morning sessions will benefit all cover-crop practitioners. Afternoon sessions will then dive into cover crops and equipment for vegetable farms and reduced tillage practices.
